Filling the top-center of the piece is a crystal turtle. It is translucent and reflective and makes the creation more unique and special. It fills a gap that would otherwise just be dark. Otherwise, the trellis top would be lost.
The multitude of colors give an interesting ambiance for my office/man-cave. It is a special place from which to podcast.
Built with cedar, with the back assembled with pocket screws and glue to connect the 4 boards. After connecting, I sanded using an orbital sander with 120 grit sandpaper. The sides are 1” x 2” cedar boards with 45° corners.
A way to remotely point my iPhone at an image I want to capture.
I have placed my iPhone on top of my camera robot so that I can use my Canon/iPad to point the lens of both cameras at the scene I want to photograph. The two are aligned somewhat like a rifle scope and the barrel of a gun.

This morning was not cloudy. We were able to capture the rising sun as it presented itself through the center arch of the Market House. Tomorrow, the 3rd possible day to capture the sunrise through the center arch, there is the possibility of rain. We shall see…
These, the day before the sun aligns with the Market House Center Arch—Veterans Day.
Depending upon weather [cloudiness], there are three days in November [before winter solstice] and January [after winter solstice] To capture the sun as it rises due East of the Market House. It shows perfectly in the Market’s House Center Arch. The November Day of perfect alignment is 11/11–Veterans Day. Tomorrow morning forecast is for partly cloudy skies. We shall see what we get.
